We are excited to announce the recent launch of the “SmartCharge Arizona” electric vehicle (EV) pilot program in conjunction with Salt River Project (SRP). The program launched mid-October and five hundred residential EV owners living in the SRP service territory have already enrolled. This three year study will provide insight in to the charging behavior of the EV drivers in the area. This program will also include a customer controlled load shifting program, called SmartCharge Rewards® which is designed to promote EV charging during times that are beneficial to the grid while also reducing the cost of charging for their EV customers.
Although registration is currently full, a wait list can be found on the SmartCharge Arizona program page. For more information visit www.fleetcarma.com/smartchargearizona or contact our SmartCharge team at: 1-800-975-2434 or smartcharge@fleetcarma.com.
