Announcing SmartCharge New England – WED

Waterloo, Ontario: Geotab Energy (FleetCarma) is proud to announce the launch of the latest electric vehicle (EV) pilot program, SmartCharge New England – WED. In partnership with the Wallingford Electric Division (WED), this two-year program will help profile the impact of EV charging in Wallingford Connecticut.

Anonymized charging data from enrolled participants will be collected using an easy-to-install telematic device. This data, which includes when EVs charge, will be analyzed to better understand how EVs impact WED’s existing infrastructure and provide insights for future load management.
